Arby's Turkey & Corned Beef Double-Stacked Reuben Review Spew Confessions

The Arby's corned beef Reuben and I have had a long lasting relationship.  I've long been a fan of the corned beef, sauerkraut, and dressing on rye bread.  I always know what I'm getting, and have become very comfortable with the Reuben.  This all changed when corned beef suggested bringing in a 3rd party to our relationship.  At first, I was taken aback.  I mean...I'm a dude so it's not like I had never thought about it, but still...

Corned beef said that we should let turkey join in on our lunch-time trysts.  Turkey?  Really?  Don't get me wrong, I like turkey a lot.  In fact, I used to hook up with turkey at lunch in the past.  I should have guessed it would be turkey.  I've seen turkey with bacon, avocado, and even with ham and roast beef at the same time.  Filthy!  And what was corned beef thinking?  Would corned beef even need me anymore after bringing turkey into the relationship?
Things got a little messy

I agreed to the meetup, and met at our regular nooner spot.  At first, it was awkward.  I mean it's really intimidating to see corned beef and turkey just sitting there together waiting for you.  I first just wanted to watch, but it started getting creepy, and it felt like there were people watching me, so I joined in.

I thought I would be overwhelmed with this much sandwich, but I handled myself pretty well for a 1st-timer.  At first I enjoyed both turkey and corned beef together, but then things started going wrong.  Turkey just started dominating the sandwich.  It was like turkey wanted to be the star of the show, and it was all I could focus on.  Corned beef just got lost in the shuffle, and near the end of the sandwich, I didn't even notice the corned beef.

I shamefully crinkled up the sandwich paper and refilled my diet Dr Pepper and left.  I've got to be honest here...I haven't been back to see corned beef.  Especially since corned beef and turkey are both there.  It would be totally awkward.  Luckily, this appears to be a one-time thing, as this double-stacker will be going away at the end of March.  Maybe then I can try to repair my relationship with corned beef.  I want to get back to our regular lunch dates like the good old days.  The turkey & corned beef double stacker from Arby's was not my cup of tea.  1 star.

On a side note...I was driving by Arby's the other day and noticed that they have a double stacker where you can get corned beef + corned beef.  Hmm......twins......

Would the mother-daughter be like old vs fresh meat? I like both meat partners to be fresh......

The "mother" in this case would definately be a MILF - Meat I'd Love to Feast upon. Do remember I can comment like this forever.
